Restore Child and Youth Care operates on the traditional lands of Treaty 6, 7, and 8 in Alberta, home to diverse Indigenous Nations and Métis communities. These communities have long cared for the land and continue to be its stewards. Acknowledging the land honors their traditions and the respect they have shown for it. We recognize that our ability to thrive on this land is due to the ongoing care and respect of Indigenous peoples, and this acknowledgment extends to our work with Indigenous children, youth, and families.
The Program Supervisor leads and supports our staff and implementation team to ensure that all services are delivered in alignment with our values and licensing regulations. They provide ongoing supervision, mentorship, and guidance, helping staff maintain best practices and uphold high standards of care. By fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration, the Program Supervisor ensures smoother, safer operations across all programs, creating an environment where every child feels supported, valued, and empowered to thrive.
Our Live-In Mental Health Practitioners provide continuous, hands-on care and guidance within the home environment. They implement therapeutic and parenting programs, helping children and families navigate challenges while fostering growth, resilience, and emotional well-being. Their presence ensures children receive consistent support around the clock
Our Indigenous Elders play a vital role in healing, cultural preservation, and the nurturing of language, traditions, and values. They provide guidance, mentorship, and spiritual support to the children and youth in our care. Through sharing traditional knowledge, leading ceremonies, and offering teachings, our Elders help youth reconnect with their heritage, build resilience, and strengthen their sense of identity. Their presence is essential in supporting personal growth, emotional well-being, and a foundation for lifelong healing.
Child and Youth Support Workers engage directly with children and teens, providing day-to-day support, encouragement, and guidance. They build trusting relationships, implement behavior and skill-building strategies, and create opportunities for children to feel safe, empowered, and valued.
To create safe spaces where healing begins and hope is restored.
