Group Care
The Group Care program offers support to children and youth from Alberta Child and Family Services Offices. Each group home creates a therapeutic, culturally inclusive, and home-like environment, ensuring a safe and holistic space guided by trauma-informed practices.
Our homes are staffed around the clock by trained Youth Development Workers who are responsible for the youth's overall care, safety, and growth. We understand that the youth we assist may have experienced trauma, which affects them in different ways. Therefore, we prioritize a strength-based, individualized approach to meet each person's unique needs.
Foster programs

Our foster program matches families with qualified parents who have group care experience and a deep commitment to caring for children. Restore provides training to ensure foster parents are fully equipped for the role. In essence, we handle check-ins for caseworkers and offer additional support when necessary. Think of us as your go-between!

Outreach Programs

We collaborate with other funded outreach programs, such as Miskanawah, to foster Indigenous connections for the youth in our care. Our children attend these programs at least three times a week, in addition to other activities planned by our Intake Coordinator. These programs provide valuable opportunities for cultural engagement and personal growth, supporting the holistic development of the children we serve.
